Welcome to the real world of sustainable fashion with OMOM! Their journey began in 2014 when they decided to tackle the wasteful habit of using disposable plastic bags. It all started with a few handmade see-through tulle bags that brought immense satisfaction. The positive response encouraged them to create fruit bags for friends and family, and soon, OMOM was born. In Swedish, OM means "again," symbolizing their commitment to reusability.
Since then, their fruit bags have been a daily favorite. To meet growing demand, they partnered with a small family-run business in India, focusing on only organic fabric production with GOTS certification. Their quality craftsmanship has been a perfect match for them over the past decade. The craftsmen receive a living wage (something other than minimum wage) and are paid per hour set for per product, which contributes to a more humane workplace where the pace of work is reasonable.
OMOM's product line has expanded, always inspired by their own needs and the belief that organic and sustainable fashion can be colorful and stylish.
